A day’s diet of World Amateur Sumo Champion, Emmanuel Yarborough, who weighs 300 kg

Breakfast: 12 fried or poached eggs;12 frankfurter sausages;800 g sliced ham; a loaf of bread, and 4 large glasses fresh juice.

Lunch: 4 barbecue chickens; 2 bowls mashed potatoes; and 4 Cokes.

Dinner: 4 grilled lobsters (500 g each); 3 ‘T’ bone steaks (350 g each); 2 bowls mashed potatoes, and 4 Cokes

India’s first woman professional jockey is Silvia  Storia, an Italian who came to India as a tourist in 1978, but made the country her home. She fell  in love with an Indian artist, Edwin Joseph, and settled down with him at Kodaikanal, in Tamil Naidu. There she met Patricia Norelli, an American-Italian horse breeder. Storai, who’d been riding since the age of 13,delighted in riding Norelli’s horses. Recognizing her skills, Norelli   encouraged Storai to apply for a jockey’s licence. In 1993,Storai got her licence from Chennai, and the same year, she tasted her first success at the Ooty season.

In 2003,she won the Deccan Derby Trophy in Hyderabad, Becoming the first Indian woman jockey to achieve this feat. Storai is the fastest woman jockey in the country.

On 9 July, 1958 a very high tsunami was reported which was 524-metre high tsunami that occurred along Alaska’s Lituya Bay. It moved  at a terrifying speed of 160km/m. It was so high that it could easily have swept away the 452-metre high Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which are currently the tallest office buildings in the world. The Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur, is the royal residence of the maharaja of Jodhpur, and the last regal palace to build in India. It was constructed by Maharaja Umaid Singh between 1929 and 1943, at a time when region experienced a terrible famine. The king’s intention in building the palace was to provide jobs to his people. The palace, made of sandstone and marble, has over 300 rooms. The Maharaja and his family occupy only a small part of the palace; the rest of it has been converted into a museum and a deluxe hotel.
